The 5AM Warrior · Book One
You say
He's first.
Your mornings
are the evidence.
Sixty days. Five rules. One person who hears from you by six o'clock whether you kept them or not.
First 7 days free in your browser, no account. Paperback on Amazon. 5AM is not a time. It is the order.

What this is
Not a reading plan. A program.
Every morning a page that goes into Scripture and into your actual life: the phone on the nightstand, the bank statement, the thing you swore you'd never do again. Then one physical thing to do before noon. Then an honest line that night. Miss a rule and the week restarts. Lie about it and the book does.
It's for men and women who are done telling themselves they'll get to God once life settles down.
Every day · All sixty
The Standard
- Up at your time. You set it. No snooze. The snooze button is the first lie of the day.
- Jesus before the phone. Nothing with a screen until the page and the prayer are done.
- The Rep, before noon. No carry-over.
- The Account. One honest line in the morning. If you compromised yesterday, write it. No explanation allowed, just the fact.
- Report by 6 PM. One person gets a text: "Done" or "Failed." Spouse, friend, nobody fake.

The app
It asks you back
The whole book, with the Standard built in. It asks the morning question before the page opens, holds the Rep to noon, opens your texts at six with "Done" or "Failed," and keeps a tracker that doesn't round.
First 7 days free. Then $6.99 for all sixty, or $29.99 for the whole series as it comes.

Evening First
"And the evening and the morning were the first day." — Genesis 1:5
You wake up behind. Not late — behind. Somewhere between the alarm and the first cup of coffee you have already run the numbers on the day and come out short: the thing you didn't finish yesterday is still sitting where you left it, the inbox has been filling since midnight, the kids' day has a shape you didn't choose, and the version of you that was going to be ahead of all this by now has not shown up.
So here is a question you have never once asked: when does a day actually start?
You would say morning. But Genesis does not say morning. "The evening and the morning were the first day." Evening first. Then morning. The first thing a human being does in any given day is go to sleep, and by the time you open your eyes Someone has been at work in it for hours. He worked the night shift. You slept straight through His part of the day, and then you woke up and called it the beginning.
You are not the one who opens the day. You are the one who walks into it.

Who wrote it
Jeff Rooney
Gets up before the house does, and for a long time that was the problem. Leads engineering for a payments company in Franklin, Tennessee; stepfather in a blended family; mornings that have never once been quiet. First Light came out of finding that the hour was never the issue. The order was.
He got up while it was still dark.
Now you get up.
Tomorrow morning is the test. Pick one before you put the phone down.
